I love to plan. I love details. I love the way planning and details work so wonderfully together. My love for planning travel started when my husband and I were dating, and we would plan these elaborate surprise getaways for each other’s birthdays. I’m talking get the other person to the airport practically blindfolded and he finds out where we’re going when we arrive at the terminal - those kind of surprise getaways. The planning fun only continued when we got married and had our two boys. From adventure-packed trips to Walt Disney World (my oldest has been 4 times so far…and he’s 4) to taking in the picturesque sites of every New England state, I’ve learned a lot about what the word “vacation” truly means.
